The dictionary defines light as ‘The natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible.’ You can’t see light, just what it touches and interacts with; it is intangible, reveals space, creating a personality, changing environments just by illumination. We all need light to be able to see objects, it is a fundamental part of our everyday lives that is often taken for granted, it is comparable to how we cogitate oxygen, sound, and touch (our senses) which unless removed we do not consider notable in the everyday, but it is important because it stimulates and informs the brain and body. You would see no visible forms without it. The author of See the light states, ‘We must be able to see.’ Our lives would not be the same if we could not see and that is simple. ‘Light is the insubstantial foundation of our world.’ It controls our lives and everything we do. ‘In total darkness we cannot see’ without a form of light in our everyday lives it would become inextricably more difficult effecting the completion of even mundane tasks.
